Our story
We're not the cheapest because we cut corners. We're the cheapest because we cut middlemen.
It started with a simple frustration: the same dum biryani that goes on five-star tasting menus — the same masalas, the same long-grain Sella rice — was priced so only hotel guests could eat it. The labourers, the students, the delivery riders who make this city run could never afford a plate of it.
So we opened a kitchen with one rule: real biryani, ten dirhams, no shortcuts. No frozen meat. No pre-cooked rice. No food-court compromises. That rule still runs the kitchen today.
Every plate comes with cucumber raita, mirchi ka salan and a wedge of lemon. Spice it the way your grandmother does — that's on the table too. Fan favourites: chicken biryani, mutton biryani and veg biryani.
The original
The 10er / Chicken Biryani
10AED
The plate that started it all. Bone-in chicken, marinated 14 hours in yoghurt and twelve spices, layered over saffron-stained Sella rice and dum-cooked sealed with dough. Crack the seal at the table.
Boneless Chicken
12AED
Same masala, no bones. Hand-cut thigh meat, deeper char, easier on the lunchbox.
Veg Biryani
8AED
Garden veg, fried onion, mint, cashew, kewra water. Yes, a real one — not chicken biryani with the meat pulled out.
Egg Biryani
9AED
Two boiled eggs, scored and shallow-fried, pressed into masala-soaked rice. The student favourite.
Beef Biryani
12AED
Slow-braised four hours. Falls apart at the fork. Heavy on the salan, like Hyderabad in 1956.
Mutton Biryani
15AED
Bone-in goat shoulder, dum-cooked till the marrow goes into the rice. Worth every dirham over ten.
Prawn Biryani
18AED
Tiger prawns from the Friday market, butter-tossed in tamarind masala. Friday special. Sometimes Saturday.
Family Dum / serves 4
35AED
One whole sealed-pot biryani, brought to the table still steaming. Crack the dough crust at the table — that's the rule.

FAQ
The questions everyone asks.
How is it actually 10 dirhams? What's the catch?
No catch. We own our supply chain, our kitchens are small, our menu is short, and we don't pay for fancy fit-outs or delivery franchise margins. The savings live on the plate.
Is the 10 AED biryani smaller than your competitors'?
No. A standard plate is a generous portion — heavier than the typical serving in most UAE biryani houses, not a taster.
Do you do catering or large orders?
Yes — at scale. We do sponsored distribution for labour camps, hospitals, mosques during Ramadan, schools, weddings and majlises. From 50 to 2,000+ plates. WhatsApp us a week ahead and we'll quote and plan the menu.
Is everything halal?
Yes. All meat is halal, sourced from approved UAE suppliers. We don't serve pork or alcohol, anywhere.
Do you have vegetarian and Jain options?
The veg biryani is fully vegetarian. We can prepare a Jain version (no onion, garlic, root veg) at the Karama and Bur Dubai branches with 30 minutes' notice — call ahead.
Do prices ever go up?
The 10er has been ten dirhams since 2014. We've absorbed every price increase since. We do not plan to change that.
